Welcome to the #BGE2020 Elimination Round Lower Bracket!
Each game in the lower bracket is still seeded based on its performance in the two opening rounds of pools! Every game in the lower bracket has already been defeated by another game in a 1-on-1 poll to get to this point. This is their chance to claw their way back into the main event... but the stakes are high. The games that lose in these polls are out of the tournament for good! The games that survive will face the next crop of upper bracket losers in the next round.
Polls are updated weekly, typically on Monday. Check back throughout the week to make sure you don't miss a vote!
HOW TO VOTE
This is easy. You only get one vote per poll. The game with the most votes wins. In the event of a tie, the higher seed advances, so don't get complacent!

San Andreas is not the best game ever, but it's the best game in this poll.

Re: BOTTOM 512 — Week 10 — Poll 21
I simultaneously like and don't like the skill system added in AW: Dual Strike.
It's cool to find little synergies between CO innates and the skills available, but it also dilutes the identity of individual COs to do so. The cost mitigates it a little bit (you have to play COs for awhile to be able to unlock skills), but then it perpetuates a rich-getting-richer problem where your skilled CO is going to be played due to the (minor) additional benefits they have unlocked, despite another CO being more able or more interesting on a given map. I think I ended up unlocking skills on only a few COs when going through the campaign.
The dual CO powers being much more powerful also works for and against the game.
I feel like AW2 and perhaps Days of Ruin were the most fun ones. Too bad the remake is so pricey I doubt I'll pick it up anytime soon... I should try Wargroove again.

Re: BOTTOM 512 — Week 10 — Poll 21
The seminal GTA3 somehow got dumped by an inferior game in the previous week's batch of polls, so I'm hoping the technically superior but not as influential sequel can make it through, especially over yet another copy & paste of better previous AW entries.
