Each game is seeded based on its performance in the two opening rounds of pools. Every game in the Upper Bracket has defeated multiple other games in 1-on-1 polls to get to this point. These are still the best of the best.
Polls are updated weekly, typically on Monday. Check back throughout the week to make sure you don't miss a vote!
HOW TO VOTE
This is easy. You only get one vote per poll. The game with the most votes wins. In the event of a tie, the higher seed advances, so don't get complacent!

There are a few brackets like that for me this round. The silver lining is... one of them is guaranteed a spot in the top 32.
I went with Half-Life here, partly because it has been recently "perfected" by Valve, but partly because this specific match-up is a battle of a great originary force and a great retrospective force. Mega Man 9 is an excellent game, and its excellence is defined by the very fact that it looks backwards well. Mega Man 9 appreciates the previous Mega Men to a degree that makes it rise above them in many ways, but still needs them.
