Each game is seeded based on its performance in the two opening rounds of pools. Every game in the Upper Bracket has defeated multiple other games in 1-on-1 polls to get to this point. These are still the best of the best.
Polls are updated weekly, typically on Monday. Check back throughout the week to make sure you don't miss a vote!
HOW TO VOTE
This is easy. You only get one vote per poll. The game with the most votes wins. In the event of a tie, the higher seed advances, so don't get complacent!
I haven’t played Beyond Good & Evil but am pretty comfortable I’d like Mega Man 2 more. It’s a pretty perfect game for what it is. My son likes it the most from the classic series (after only Mega Msn 11, though that’s more contemporary). He’s 11 years old now so that says something about Mega Msn 2’s reach.

BG&E was an utterly fantastic game that came out during Ubisoft's golden era. The story, the characters and the gameplay were all brilliant. Sci-fi Zelda. To this day I wish we had actually gotten a sequel back in the day.
If the BG&E2 they were making ever finally comes out it's unlikely it would be the sequel most of the fans would want now tbh.

Beyond Good & Evil is a great game. Played it on GCN where I almost finished it (I think). Will have to replay it at some point.

Anyway, the article doesn't mention any decent system .. if it comes to PS4 I might consider it at some point.
As for Mega Man 2 .. I don't think it's a perfect game. I've tried to like it, but this and some other versions of the series just didn't click with me.
