Neal got a hat trick too. I feel like kitroplious is always just close enough into the mix that one stellar game from that '70s line will put him into the rankings. Zetterberg had a 3-point night, keeping me paced ahead of Slurm. And Vic did indeed get two points out of Couture, to leapfrog him back ahead of Kreegs into 4th.

Tonight I have:
  • Spezza trying to outclass his teammates Benn & Seguin against a bunch of NJ reserves
  • A battle of the reserves between Filppula, Wheeler, and Little (hoping Stamkos stays off the sheet)
  • Another chance for Landeskog to prove himself against the Canucks
  • A good game for me: Hall against the Staal-free Hurricanes
  • And then no action in the late game (hoping the Jackets and Ducks go 0-0 into the SO)
Here's the link to the updated sheet.

Nice bounce back game for Miller, after he got chased in Dallas; Quick sets a new team record for the Kings in shutouts (at least in regular season), with 33; passing Rogie Vachon who had 32. Quick tied him after the end of OT against the Blues.

Vancouver plays Colorado plays tonight, while the Ducks host the Blue Jackets. The Kings and the Blue Jackets play Sunday, with LA wrapping up their six game homestand.

Oh man, I got the shit kicked out of me in the pool tonight. Slurm got something like 10 points. I'm lucky I drew enough points to maintain a tie. Iginla's shaping up to be an OK sub if Stastny stays hurt.

Vancouver played ugly in Colorado last night... at least either Lack or the defense. :(

I think the emphasis is more on players that can get 1 point a game. Most players on our teams average that because we have so few people participating in the league. If you have 3 players not playing, thats 2-3 points every night that you are falling behind! I hate to wish ill on others, but come on injuries!!!

If you look on the second page of the sheet, I track a bunch of other data there, including points per game, usually divided up by active players and reserves. I also have a column for our draft order, so we can see which high and low picks are doing well for us or underperforming.

Nice! I never noticed that page!

We should give out the hindsight award at the end for the reserve that got the most points! haha

Well, I guess the only positive to tonight's game was Gagner getting a point. Otherwise, very disappointing night.

11 out of a possible 15 points [5 goals] from LA tonight, including 10 by That 70s' line! Ironically, that trio were the three stars of the game.
