Sunset Overdrive

Despite looking a bit too corny for me at a first glance, Insomniac's Xbox One exclusive action game Sunset Overdrive is getting great reviews.

Since the most interesting reviews are often the outliers (what does this reviewer see that others don't / what are the points of disagreement on the same content between these reviewers), I went straight for the lowest score, a 6/10 from videogamer.com and predictably found a comments section filled with idiotic trolls.

I think we only have one boner here so far (Clay?). Any plans to pick this up? Is this exclusive enticing anyone else towards Microsoft yet?

I'm not planning on getting a Xbox one, but if comes out on PC I will probably get it.

Yeah, I definitely want this, but it's not something I'm getting right now. Although I think I could still trade in Forza Horizon 2 for 40 bucks toward Sunset Overdrive. Decisions...

I wouldn't say it is enticing me to purchase an Xbox One, but I'm certainly intrigued. It may be developer bias in that I expect a high-quality game to be developed by Insomniac Games but overall the tone doesn't quite interest me. I'd definitely check it out if I had an Xbox One and I'm quite interested in finding out if we have anyone on here who has since picked it up and what their thoughts were.
