I'm not a huge Blues fan (old divisional rivals, plus Pronger used to play there), but this is something that makes me kind of start to like them a bit more.

I just can't believe this! Of all things to hit the NHL this year, the mumps?!?!?!

Or maybe its Space Jam hockey style...?

There was a big mumps outbreak at my university when I was doing my PhD. It was quite the scare, since it can cause male infertility! Response was pretty quick, though, and everyone at the school got a free MMR vaccine. I wonder why these hockey dudes aren't getting vaccinated! Maybe they all contracted it at the same time, so they didn't have enough time to react.

I am allergic to something in the MMR, so I never got it. :!:

Kreegs powered ahead of Vic last night, partly due to Stamkos's 3-point night. The only thing that kept me in the race was Pavelski finally stepping up into a 3-point night as well. I'm now 3 points behind Vic and third place.

From CBC's preview of tonight's game: "Patrick Sharp led Chicago with 34 goals last season but hasn't played since suffering a knee injury in the first meeting with Montreal. Sharp skated with the team this week, though, and may return Friday."

Noooooooo, Sharp, don't do it! Stay home for another month or so!
