Other than playtime and Rhythmia, I only included stats that could be maxed/capped, because those are "goal" stats that you can complete. Something like enemies killed can be driven up to infinity, and for me that's not as useful as a progress measure.

I do find the slide controls feel less responsive than they did in the original. Unless my mind is playing tricks on me and they were equally unresponsive back then. But it's especially bad on Field stages, where it feels like there's a discernible lag & drag when moving the stylus up and down hills.
I haven't warmed up to button controls yet.

I'm still playing this off and on (it's great for a 10-minute session here and there). I'm not sure how I feel about quest maps, although they're way better than the system from the first game. I feel like there's always an ideal path through them, assuming you're going for shards (reach all bosses).
I have reached the point where I can better position a party to take out a ton of enemies, mostly using Terra and Auron. That's been pretty nice, and I like the feature where you can level-reset for some extra CP. Collectacards seem like a more slow-burn mechanic though, since I've been playing several hours and have only gotten one character a few extra Magic and 2 extra CP out of them. Mostly doing Quest Maps, though, so I get fewer cards. Versus matches against CPU are less interesting and I'm worried about getting whomped by other players.
Haven't tried stylus controls yet, button controls do seem somewhat sluggish for slides but I assumed it was how they ported the up/down movement to buttons.

They feel sluggish on the stylus, too.
I'm not sure how versus matches work. Do you have to be similar in level? I wouldn't mind trying it out online, but I'm really not all that deep into the game at all. (I think I've done 4 short quests, 1-2 medium ones, and I'm saved at the dungeon of my first long one.)

Maybe if they bring this over they'll finally bring DQ 7 remake or DQ 10
It's a shame Nintendo still has their backwards region locking policy in effect, because this game would be very import-friendly if it doesn't come to North America.
