You can always delete the data and retrain them if you want to.The Shoemaker wrote:So as for the actually functionality of Amiibo's go, I've been training mine a bit in Smash Bros. My Mario tuned out God tier, I don't know what happened but I haven't been able to beat him in a long time. He fights incredibly aggresive and uses his cape better than a bull wrangler. He fights much better than a CPU, even though he is more humanist and doesn't perfectly predict your moves to shield. Even though I don't win, it's much more enjoyable to fight my Mario because he fights like me.
My other Amiibos didn't turn out as great, and it's all because of Samus. Basically I was training Samus on the Donkey Kong stage where there's a foreground and background to fight on and the whole time we were both jumping around trying to reach the barrels. I guess Samus learned that the key to victory is to keep jumping so from then on Samus would just jump around the entire match. Well I ended up pitting Samus against my other 2 Amiibo's and now they learned from Samus to never stop jumping. So basically I have Mario kicking ass and the other 3 jumping around endlessly trying to run away

Re: Amiibo
I have a question.
If I have a friend who has some Amiibo that I do not, can he bring them over to unlock Mario Kart Mii outfits if he has already used them on his game?

Re: Amiibo
Probably, MK8 amiibo is read-only. Smash is the only game (so far) that writes to the amiibo.
Re: Amiibo
I like that the Amiibo are branching out past Smash soon and that if you have the Mario Smash you don't have to buy the Mario from the Mario set. It's just too bad that you have to overwrite the Smash data to use it in MP10

I agree, upcoimg Amiibo support is encouraging. Hopefully they allow you to save your Amiibo data somewhere before you're forced to erase it.squishy wrote:I like that the Amiibo are branching out past Smash soon and that if you have the Mario Smash you don't have to buy the Mario from the Mario set. Diddy is pretty easy to find here. Pit is the only amiibo from the first two waves I haven't even seen firsthand. Right now, I'm looking for Toon Link. Got Bowser and Rosalina from Wave 3. I have an interest in almost everyone from the third wave.

I see Diddy Kong and Zelda in most stores in Canada, haven't seen any other of the wave 2.
Roslina went up for sale at EB Games today, was sold out online within a minute, I refreshed the page and they were out of stock :p
It seems like Nintendo might be coming out with a Gold and Silver edition of Mario...
