Re: Hockey Thread! (NHL etc.)
Some teams have played their 70th and 71st games, meaning we're really in the home stretch now. With most players having about 10 games left to play, the current pool standings are getting interesting!
Vic just squeaked by Slurm this weekend to move into 2nd place by 2 points. Kreegs is still 24 points ahead of him, though, which seems untouchable at this point, even with Kane out for the rest of the season. 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th also seem to be locked up, with a decent amount of space between each rank, meaning the real race at the end of this season is going to be between Vic and Slurm for 2nd place.

Because your team is REALLY good. Amazingly, the Wild are HOT right now. Where were you sitting? Where there a lot of MN fans there? I was watching on tv. Couldn't believe that the Wild were able to pull out 2 wins in Nashville this year!Claytone wrote:Why do I watch this sportClaytone wrote:Going to Preds v Wild tonight!

What is that celebration song and chant after a goal?
Also, another one of my players in hurt...

Fucking hell MacKinnons only gonna miss 18 games.
Colorado have finally started to play well but it's a little late in the season I think.
Florida look like they're sadly not going to make it either I really wanted them to knock Boston out just because I'm sick of seeing them in the playoffs hopefully Ottawa can do that instead. Can never have to many Canadian teams.
Washington are looking a little shaky but have strung to wins together to push ahead of Boston and Ovechkin is looking like a stud. It sucks that Nathan walker got injured though in the ECHL hopefully he bounces back next year.
Looking back at my guess of the standings currently 7 of the eastern teams I had in the playoffs are in the playoffs columbus letting me down and my bold wish on red wings not making the playoffs backfired.

Yeah I'd love to see Ottawa knock Boston out of that last spot. They can do it, but it'll be a heck of a finish to the season. There's a slim chance I might still get up to see a Sens game, so hopefully it'll be one that matters.

I never hate original 6 teams making the playoffs. But, I'm sick of the Boston area winning everything.Kong Wen wrote:Yeah I'd love to see Ottawa knock Boston out of that last spot. I'd also love to not see the Kings in the playoffs and have jets/flames instead too.
