The regular season concluded tonight. The stats for the regular season pool have been compiled: here's the sheet.
Slurm is the winner of the first annual TONe NHL Pool with 671 points, coming back from behind on the last day of the season to beat Kreegs (669) who had been leading since New Years.
We're going to have a playoff pool as well. Everyone can pick five players from their current rosters, either active or reserves. There will be no substitutions throughout the entirety of the playoff pool, so choose based on players you think can get you points but also based on what teams you think may go deep. I've highlighted the playoff-eligible players to give you an easier time visualizing your picks!
Please submit your picks before the first playoff game begins on Wednesday. If you don't make picks, I'll just assume you want your top-5 scorers from the regular season pool.

Re: Hockey Thread! (NHL etc.)
Is there a way to put a badge or something on my account that says I won the pool and what year?
Nonetheless
Crosby
Tavares
Sedin
Stepan
Yandle (Choosing him over Vanek as I see Rangers going deep so lets see if that pays off)

Re: Hockey Thread! (NHL etc.)
I will go with:
Stamkos
Nash
Parise
Backstrom
Datsyuk
This is all as of now. I am keeping with the news to see updates about Kane.

Clay, you're able to sub Jokinen out for someone in your reserve list. It won't change the standings, but it will boost your points a little bit, for the sake of your honour.

Obviously, I need to make changes, thanks to the knockout blow [to the Kings] by Western Canada!Kong Wen wrote:The regular season concluded tonight. The stats for the regular season pool have been compiled: here's the sheet.

Re: Hockey Thread! (NHL etc.)
Who could have predicted that, eh?! Still, I think it's nice to have the Flames, Canucks, and Jets in the playoffs. Your choices are obviously more limited for the playoff pool (you can only choose from among the players who had in the regular season pool), but you have some guys from some good teams there, so if the Canucks or Wild e.g. go deep, who knows what could happen!kitroplious wrote:Obviously, I need to make changes, thanks to the knockout blow [to the Kings] by Western Canada!

Re: Hockey Thread! (NHL etc.)
*question already answered about rosters*
Sure, I'll make a decision soon!
UPDATE (final): One sub (bringing back Boyle, discarding Letang).
The rest is unchanged.

Just to clarify, we're picking 5 players. They can be any 5 players from our team (active or reserve) as long as they're in the playoffs.kitroplious wrote:*question already answered about rosters*

It sounds like you want: Bonino, Neal, Kesler, Niederreiter, and Boyle? If this is not correct, let me know and I'll fix you up.
