The shortcut one-jump all the way past the finish line? LOL. That looks insane.
Yeah that one, so ridiculous  It'll be interesting to see what other courses offer awesome shortcuts like this.

Looks really fun, but I still wonder about the integrity of the tracks. If you can do something like that one on of the newest tracks, just imagine some of the retro courses. Dare I say total exploitation? Do you think this was the idea of it though?

I think they knew it would result in some crazy things like this and were completely okay with it as it's not replacing the standard method of playing and makes it feels like a whole new way of approaching each course.

True. You agree with me then, that the purist way to play this game is still on 150, but that doesn't meant that 200 won't be a heck of a good time!

All eight pack two DLC courses have been revealed. GameXplain uploaded JP trailers. I'll just link to the overview trailer. I'm not taking the time to link seven videos.

A new subway track, a new forest track, Big Blue from F-Zero, and a bunch of retro courses. Neo Bowser City (3DS), Baby Park (GCN), Ribbon Road (GBA), and Cheese Land (GBA).

Thanks for finding this! I really can't wait! The Woods track looks really fun. I am really satisfied with all retro tracks. What one are you most looking forward to?

Well by definition the purist way of playing would be the original most true to form way of playing, which 200cc is not :P We'll just have to see how it plays, who knows maybe in future Mario Karts this will be the purist most competitive form of playing!

Cool to see the new tracks! They all look really good actually, with the dud being Baby Park. It'll be fun with the antigravity, but I wonder if it'll be as enjoyable without Double Dash's crazy items. Neo Bowser City wasn't expected, but I bet all the rain and neon lights will look great in HD. I thought the course was not bad on the 3DS, definitely had a couple tricky turns with the reduced traction.

The two GBA tracks were a surprise, I don't even recognize them! The cheese Land one looks like classic Mario Kart, while the Toy world looks adorable.

As for new tracks, the little swamp village one is a cool idea. Didn't expect to see another F-Zero course (I imagine it'll be nuts on 200cc as well). The Subway one is also neat, reminds me a bit of Coconut Mall and Toad's Turnpike.

Also, you can find all the individual videos here: http://www.gonintendo.com/?mode=viewstory&id=251068 (Also at the end of each video they show which new karts we'll be getting as well).

Yeah, 200cc mode is definitely intended to just be a zany ridiculous mode.

The first 3DS one mentioned looks kinda meh but the track could be good.

The toy GBA one looks FUCKING AMAZING

Train station one could be cool hopefully the train isn't annoying.

I thought we already had an F-Zero track or am I getting confused?

The baby track is meh it's a circle idk why they added it really. I guess maybe for rookies?

The desert track I'm worried about the 2 other desert tracks suck so hopefully this ones better.

And the animal crossing track of course looks awesome as they put the most effort into it.

We do. Mute City was in the first DLC pack. Big Blue is here for the second.

Such a small track allows for items to stick around for a few laps. Was always the Bowser Shells in Double Dash. I could see bananas and green shells still being pretty annoying here. And with it fully in anti gravity, it can only be more hectic than that. I wouldn't say it's for rookies. It's just a different type of course. And it's been confirmed to go for seven laps.
