Just played the Mushroom cup on 200cc. Didnt have too much trouble. I imagine it will get tougher with the tighter tracks, but I didnt have to brake once on the Mushroom Cup.

I played the first retro cup on 200cc. Moo Moo Meadows went well, but nothing else did.

For the new tracks as a whole, I was surprised to find Cheese Land to be the most difficult to get through. Still haven't won the Crossing Cup on 100cc because of that track.

I think it's safe to say that Nintendo did DLC better with Mario Kart 8 than any other company with any other game. So much added content for such a low price!

Whoa, whoaaaa. Easy, now. Have you played GTA IV or Fallout: New Vegas? There are other companies that do (or at least have done) DLC well.

After installing the DLC yesterday, I tried 200cc mushroom cup and ended 3rd place. As I did not use my regular vehicle combo, I don't know yet if it would've been better or worse for 200cc. I tried to find a combo with better handling and not much speed, but will have to try again. Tonight or tomorrow, I'll give the new tracks a try on 50cc.

As for the combo, anyone know of a good one for 200cc? Light character or heavy?

Been working too much to play, but I tried 200cc on one cup and it felt like a good enhancement. Nice that drift braking still gives a mini turbo boost.

I'll try to get this installed tonight, though I won't be able to give 200cc a test run since I won't have it unlocked.

I noticed with the update (and probably with the last update too) that there are more screenshots on the main menu. Sometimes when highlighting multiplayer you'll see all the babies racing, or all the Kooplalings. I've also seen a new shot of Bowser when highlighting single player as well as a few other characters. Different from the title screen though!
