One of my most anticipated games of 2015, for sure. The nine days thing doesn't really bother me, since I can still enjoy playing other levels in the meantime.

Either way, I think it will be challenging to make levels with fewer tools at our disposal for the first few plays. Makes it feel like the original developers with their limited tools!

I could make levels with fewer tools if I wanted to, without annoying arbitrary limitations imposed on me. It's going to be awesome to be able to almost realize my creative vision, except not be able to use chain chomps, and then have to come back in a few days to finish my level.

Either way, it's not a big obstacle, but it's crappy / unnecessary design.

Here's a really neat Super Mario Maker level inspired by Metroid. It's neat in that it requires you to return to previous parts of the level with new power ups to make your way through. Really creative.

You can actually change the skin tone of the hand, which only appears on the TV (not the gamepad).
yes, and thats stupid, that happened cuz of the guy(s) complaining about it being racism and sexism
nintendo fell for it, an dthat happens with so many who hear "its racism!!" when they did or made something

Well it's not like people complained and then Nintendo added this feature :p You can change the hand to a cat paw as well so I don't think it's completely aout race, but I'm sure they knew people would make a fuss.

Even if that were the reason (it's not), it wouldn't be stupid. For Nintendo to make such an easy adjustment to make even a tiny market happier would be smart business, plain and simple, to the detriment of literally no one.
