Streets of Rage 2 (Genesis) - My favorite beat 'em up by no small margin. I have some fond memories with an old, somewhat estranged friend playing through this game over and over. This one means a lot.

It doesn't do anything spectacular, it's just a good mix of interesting characters, good story, brilliant music and simple but fun combat that arrived in my life at the perfect time.

I think this will be my sole nomination.nthere are other games that I really love that I was thinking about nominating but the addition of the seeding thing made me want to give my absolute favorite game of all time the best chance it can get.

Not that I expect it to win in a million years.

Would be fun with a offshoot of this, but with consoles sometimes, just saying.
