Just got the amiibo bundle from a local store. Game was cheap, but amiibo full price. Going through the intro atm.

Awesome! Didn't know there was a bundle for just the game and the Amiibo. I bought a copy of the game today, but not for me, so I'm still waiting for mine to come in the mail so I can play :P

LOL @ Amazon - my order is slated to arrive sometime between the 18th and the 25th. It's not shipping until Monday.

A friend of mine got this game, and I'm playing it with him. Man does it look good. I think I'm gonna have to buy it, although I wasn't planning to yet. It just looks too enticing!

Let me tell you as a former (and possibly future) employee of Amazon: if you were originally promised an earlier ship date, you can almost certainly call and complain and get a significant discount, coupon for future purchases, or something. The company is neurotic about customer satisfaction.

I've made 1 decent level so far. I decided to limit my options to essentially just koopa's and moving platforms, just to see if I could make a good basic level. I like it, but I'd like to make a couple more additions to it once I unlock more features, like a sub level. Easy to get lost for hours making levels!

I love the Splatoon costumes, squid jumping everywhere.

How long does it take to make a level?

I might have to put this on my Christmas list. I'll be ok not playing it for a few months.

A short level is easily made in a few minutes. Just looking at the design examples (I prefer to call them tutorials) you can view with the codes in the artbook. Can't do most of them, but it's fun to watch the vids. Got 49 min. in (mostly watching and playing, not much creating yet), but haven't unlocked much (other than what the amiibo unlocked).

Depends on the creator! It's really easy to make a level, but it takes time to make a well designed and aesthetically pleasing level. You can always play in spurts though.

Here's my first level! 5800 0000 001D 42EF Platforms n' Parakoopa's. Like I said, I made this one simple. I don't find it to be very hard, but out of 127 players only 7 or so have actually beat it :p Let me know what you think! It will be good to know if I'm making my levels too hard or if there are unfair/broken aspects to it.

There's a faster path near the bottom, but I don't recommend it unless you're really good at timing spin jumps.
