Pokemon and Ratchet and Clank.
I loved everything about ratchet and clank apart from the final boss and not having enough bolts.

First time using all 3 votes. Pokemon Red/Blue has just so much nostalgia for me. F-Zero GX is, well.... F-Zero and it's awesome. Smash 3DS is my least favourite Smash game, but it's still brilliant.

This is another great bracket. I voted for only Monster Hunter 4, though. I spent countless hours on that game and felt it was one of the best games I played in both single and multiplayer.

Monster Hunter was a very easy choice for me. I also love 3DS Smash for its portability.

Only God of War is getting my vote here. It had a fun story and really fun fighting and action. Gotta love mythical ancient Greece...
Speaking of, I need to get around to play 2. Perhaps after my October creepy gaming...

That’s the way it works when it’s not working. That’s the way it hurts before it starts hurting.

I voted for God of War as well. It was not the kind of game I expected it to be. I thought it would be a full-on action brawler. While the fighting was indeed quite solid, I was surprised and impressed by the puzzle elements and the intricate and interesting environments. Hades. *shudder*

Ms. Pac Man and F-Zero gotta go deep.
Re: Round 3: The British Columbia Bracket
Oh, in addition to this, I also voted for Ratchet & Clank. It's one of a healthy wave of action-platformers that really executed with tight gameplay and design before eventually descending into sequel dilution.Kong Wen wrote:I voted for God of War as well. And of course, it goes without saying, that I voted emphatically for Ms. Pac-Man, one of the greatest refinements of the arcade era.

Re: Round 3: The British Columbia Bracket
Ratchet & Clank is an amazing game. The only reason why it did not get my vote is because I felt its two PS2 sequels improved upon it in nearly every way. I'm a big fan of the series though.
