I'll apologize again for this, I was late to the vote and killed GX's chances at a tie-breaker. Heartbreaking for sure, I thought it had been rallying well. One of a few games that might be seen as oddly TONe-like.

Sengoku Rance is a much much better game than Final Fantasy VII. I've played both games and FFVII offers nowhere near the level of depth or replay value, nor does it have as amusing a cast of characters. If FFVII advances and Sengoku Rance does not it will be very hard to swallow.

I would disagree with that, personally. FFVII is such a weird quirky game, I definitely found the characters and certain points of the story really amusing. Saying that, I don't even know what Sengoku Rance is.

I like the cast of characters in FFVII.

But they don't even come close to Alicesoft levels of zaniness.

The protagonist of the Rance series is an asshole rapist. His enemies include youkai, tanuki, demons and sentient hannies, most of which are parodies of Japanese historical figures.

Phil told me he was planning on continuing work on Fez 2, but wanted to wait to see how public perception of the original looked these days. I told him to wait until BGE. Recently he was seen dumping all of his Fez 2 harddrives into an industrial shredder. Bummer.

All these recent tie breakers made me sad. So many good games lost forever..

Sad to see Yoshi's Island (probably) getting through ahead of SotC.

Yoshi's Woolly World eclipses Yoshi's Island in every aspect except nostalgia.
