Have those 3 people voted for other games in this poll?
Also how many people nominated Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup

No. This is a case study in attrition.

One. But he only nominated 5 games, which is why it seeded so highly. He sacrificed many other games that he could have nominated in order to give the ones he really loves a chance.

Shortest case study ever :p
If I had played it I bet I would have voted for it, it looked like a good RPG.
Currently reading: A Feast For Crows AND A Dance With Dragons
It has RPG "street cred", for what it's worth, so I tried it for an hour or so and just couldn't get into it. Whiny main character that puts Tidus to shame, impenetrable battle system... maybe after four or five hours I might've liked it.
I didn't really get the appeal, so I'm glad that not everyone who has played the game raves about it.
Red Dead Redemption, The Legend of Zelda: A Link between Worlds, Ultra Street Fighter IV, and Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow have secured places in the Top 64.
