Way to make me feel old :/

Classic to me is N64-PlayStation and older. Not a game that came out within the last 5 years.
Didn't quite mean it in that regard. More like when people say "it's an instant classic".

Portal 2, Resident Evil 4, Persona 4 Golden, and Castlevania have secured places in the Top 64.

Suikoden II, obviously. It is a darn shame. It got stuck in a tough bracket. No real softies snuck through like in some other brackets. I'm surprised and impressed by the support Resident Evil 4 got.

Wow I'm surprised that project M got as many votes as it did. I thought Metroid fans hated it. I haven't played it but I didn't expect it to be only a handful of votes off making it through.

As far as I know, Project M has nothing to do with Metroid. Only reason a Metroid fan would have to hate/dislike Project M is if they already hate/dislike Smash. Are you confused with the Wii game Metroid: Other M (disliked by many Metroid fans)?

Project M is a Smash Bros. game.
