Just thought I'd let everyone know The Pinball Arcade: Season One Table Pack is 50% off on Steam until 2 September. It's $14.99 for 21 tables. Pretty great deal!

Pinball Arcade is currently free (since august 19) on the Mac AppStore. The four tables included in the app are Tales of the Arabian Nights™, Ripley's Believe It or Not®, and Theatre of Magic™, and Black Hole™. Don't know if it stays free, but I've downloaded it. Not going to purchase tables on it though.

I'm loving this game on the Vita.

I just got the Grand Finale on that score, I still need to get a 100 million jackpot during a multi-ball for the wizard goal. It's problematic since I have a hard time hitting the trunk reliably when there is only the small opening. I can sort of only do it with the right flipper.

You're going for the most difficult shot in the game. You MUST enter the trunk on your first shot and within 5 seconds. My strategy from memory:

- Keep your right flipper UP for the first ball. This SHOULD ricochet above and around the slingshot and safely channel down the inlane
- AS SOON as the first ball hits your raised flipper, DROP IT and let the second ball rebound to the left flipper. You should be able to cradle that ball with ease, or at least slow it enough for the third step
- By the time you've juggled the second ball, but before the third enters play, the first one should be just about at your flipper. This is your ONE CHANCE to make the shot, so make it count

Hey, thanks for the tip. I did however manage to get that last wizard goal by complete luck.

I really like the fact that I get new trophies and wizard goals on the Vita version of the game even though I have it on PS3, they're a fun motivator and good for learning the tables.
