I don't really agree with that assessment, personally. DKC2 was my favorite of the DK games and was damn fun imo. Zelda DX was one of my favorite Zelda games too. Stiff competition from Link to the Past and Oracles of Ages/Seasons though. Mario Kart 64 is whatever admittedly.

I like Link's Awakening, too; my criticism is that it flies under the radar / is a niche 20+ year old handheld game. That doesn't generally give a game a lot of pull in a Top 64 / Top 32 scenario, especially against the overall #1 seed, and especially with games like A Link to the Past and Ocarina of Brown in other brackets. Metroid Prime was always going to stomp this bracket. I'd like to see Link's Awakening squeeze out 2nd place though.

Links awakening is probably one of my least favorite Zelda titles as well.

I'm not sure why LA is so well loved. I'm close to beating the game, but I thought its been pretty traditional Zelda fare so far, if not more cumbersome than usual due to only having two item slots.

The whole collect X give X to Player A, player a gives you Y give Y to player b player b gives you Z give Z to player c was annoying as hell as well.
