Both games knocked out DKC2 so I hate them equally. I honestly thought Prime had a massive following here but it does seem more and more like anything with Mario or Zelda in the title automatically gets votes in this forum.

I'd say there's also an equal amount of "I hate this game/this series and so I'm voting for the other one" happening on both sides.

I have a question. Is there a reason why Zelda DX is more popular than Ages/Seasons? I thought they were all really really good. I liked how Seasons/Ages added shit like animal companions though. I also liked that one underground lava area.

It could be that more people have played Link's Awakening.

Not only that, but it was the first portable Zelda game. DX didn't add much to the original, but made it look better for sure. Nostalgia may be part of it, NES Legend of Zelda did very well also (opposed to most of the other Zelda's).
