I got a lot of sweet books. One about Megaman, one about the history of video games, and two about Disneyland.
I also got Super Mario Maker and some Blu Rays!
Parents got me the new Wild outdoor game jersey, but I will need to exchange it for a smaller size. It looks really sweet though!

I already spent the giftcards along with $150 of the cash on a nice new New 3DS XL & once I transferred my digital content over I gave the old system to my dad.

Nice! Try out Xenoblade 3D if you haven't played the original already. C-stick is also great for Smash Bros, Monster Hunter and Codename Steam.

Happy new year everyone! 2015 was (necessarily) a banner year for This Old Neon.
Let's hope we can keep doing interesting stuff and chumming around like a bunch of good 'net buds through 2016.

Hey there fellas, it's loot day again! Hope you're all enjoying festive times with your respective families, friends, pets, selves, and/or whoever else you choose to celebrate with.
Feel free to mention some of your goodies in this thread.

I got a Pocket CHIP computer from my ever-loving woman. I whipped up a quick game of breakout this morning (sans bricks) in Pico-8 over coffee. I'm finding the process far less intimidating than I expected so far., and a breakout game seems to be perfect for understanding the logic of it all. Stoked!!

Really good Christmas this year, lots of family, lots of gifts, lots of food.
Games wise I got Paper Mario Color Splash, which is cool as I was interested but wasn't sure if I wanted to take the plunge and buy it.
One of the highlights was a pair of extra bass wireless Sony headphones. Really good quality sound, also never realized how convenient wireless headphones are to listen to. We'll see how convenient they are to travel around with as they are a lot bigger than my regular earbuds.

I got myself a couple of nice Boxing Day presents.
Got an Ampeg BA-110—it's a little 40 watt 10" combo for playing bass in my basement. Also picked up a little all-purpose weight bench. I bought
Unraveled and
Inside from the PSN holiday sale. And last but not least, I snagged a few books:
Ella Minnow Pea by Mark Dunn,
Undermajordomo Minor by Patrick deWitt, and
Nutshell by Ian McEwan.
Mrs. Kong got me a nice pair of shorts for yoga/training. Her mom got me season 6 of
Game of Thrones on Blu-Ray, and her sister got me a Dartmouth sweatshirt, an R2D2 tree ornament, and a poop emoji keychain (...). My sister got me a "wipe your paws" matt and a tough toy for Berlin and some popcorn. My parents got me a nice set of blue towels and a case of 12 cans of Vanilla Coke (the best).
I had a great year, and a great time at home with family! I hope everyone else was able to enjoy the holidays in your own meaningful ways as well!
