If he's having a great year, they'll probably be inclined to protect him, no? Or do they have that many good / no-trade-claused D-men that they wouldn't be able to?

I would have to check the contracts. We changed a lot of D contracts in the offseason, so no movements might jave been added.

What if every player on a team had a no movement clause? Lol what would technically happen?

They would have to protect every one of them.

I think there's also a rule that teams have to expose a certain number of players, so if they go over their protection limit and there are still players they can't expose, they might have to sign new players just to expose them. Not sure. I don't think any team is in that situation.

Sheesh almighty, Columbus is on a 16-game winning streak. They'll tie the all-time NHL record with one more win.

Colorado is last in the league.

T_T

At least in my fantasy hockey league I have Bobrovsky. I'd be so hyped in Columbus won the cup this year.

I updated the hockey spreadsheet btw

I considered putting this in the celebrity death thread, but I think it belongs here, because people who care about hockey will care about this more.

Mike Ilitch, owner of the Detroit Red Wings and Detroit Tigers, died today at age 87.

It's really weird that there's only 29 teams playing this season I don't know why the Avs decided not to play this year :/

Also updated the hockey pool still really close. (I guess I'm leading due to my total 5 score being better than kongs)
