Beat my second divine beast. Also maxed out my stamina meter.
I have now completed the elephant and the camel. I think the bosses are actually a nice challenge. It is good that I brought a ton of food to the camel though!

Those are the same ones I've done, just maxed out my stamina yesterday with 15 hearts.

To get a certain special sword, does one need 13 red hearts, or can a food or potion be used for yellow hearts?

No food! Only the true strength of a hero will serve.

Might be the best possible answer to that question.

I went over the Gerudo highlands and desert again today looking for stuff I missed, probably found 40 more Korok seeds, as well as 6 more shrines. I also set my Sheikah sensor to treasure chests so I could find all the ones buried in the mountains and desert. Ended up finishing all the side quests in Gerudo Town and got myself the Thunder Helm as a prize.
I'm sitting around 18-19 hearts now, with maxed stamina, 92 shrines done and 460+ Korok seeds. I also found the last Fairy Fountain today so I can start working my way towards max equipment.

Nintendo has released some information regarding the first DLC pack for BotW.

Some of this actually looks pretty neat. Some of it I wish had been in the game to begin with. What are y'all's thoughts?

The quick travel medallion is a good addition. Same with the Korok mask. I'd have a hard time justifying them being paid content. On the other hand, Hard Mode and the Sword Trials make perfect sense as paid content. I just happen to be more interested in the little side-bonuses than the main meat of the DLC. Still getting it.

Yeah sounds like they just needed some stuff to spruce up the package.
Costumes are neat, in general it's cool that there will be new treasure chests/items to find, I wonder if they will have side quests to go along with them? I was just thinking it was too bad the game didn't have a Korok seed tracker, this mask will be great. I might actually find them all now.
I'm just about ready to beat the game after roughly 170 hours. Just activated the final tower, one memory left. After that I'll probably try to find all the shrines and then wait until summer.

It sounds like it, since the marketing tells us to be on the lookout for clues/hints about where to go to get them.
