Of note, Kreegs and Kit respectively had 3 and 4 players who missed more than 20 games, so their overall scores would have been better if we take into account their substitutions.
EDIT: Also of note, Han picked some pretty damn durable players! No one in his top 10 missed more than five games last season, and four of them played the full 82!
EDIT: Durability aside, Vic picked the most reliable team! His lowest-scoring top-10 pick had 53 points last season. Everyone else's lowest-scoring top-10 pick was lower than that, if only slightly.
Overall, everyone made some pretty solid choices except for Clay, whose Nashville fandom eclipsed his reason.
You were saying how great my team was but honestly I thought yours was as good if not better so not surprised to see us so close.
Trust the canucks to ruin my top 10 pick lowest scoring thing...
Also this shows how bad the injury bug was last year.
Stamkos, Malkin, Tavares, Letang, Zetterberg, Datsyuk and Gaborik all missing 20+ games and rookie Hertl.

I am hoping players stay healthy this year. Last year was tough for a lot of teams who had notable players missing lots of games. Even the Wild were without Koivu, Parise, Pominville, Backstrom, Harding, and more at one point or another.

Speaking of injuries and missing games, I've added a little mechanic to the spreadsheet to help us with our substitution rules.
As soon as a guy misses 20 games* you're allowed to call up a reserve to replace him.
You are allowed to call up a reserve who has missed 20 games, but you're not allowed to send him back down again unless you use one of your New Year substitutions (i.e. a guy can only be sent down for missing games once).
Once you send a player to the reserves due to missed games, the GM stat will be replaced with an X.
Let's use Zetterberg as an example. Zetterberg misses the first 20 games. I'm afraid he's going to be out all season, so I send him down. Then I find out the team was being cagey about his injury and he's back! Another one of my players has missed 20 games, so I bring Zetterberg up to replace him. He gets re-injured right away, but I can't send him back down because of that big X on his stats. Lucky for me, January 1st comes along, and I can finally use one of my New Years subs to replace him.
On January 3rd, he's playing again, and he's getting 5 points per game! WTF! But none of my other players are missing games, so he's just sitting in the reserves with all those points. Finally, on the last day of the season, one of my other players misses his 20th game, and I bring Zetterberg up to replace him!
* One thing we have to decide is what "As soon as a guy misses 20 games" means. Do you have to make the decision to replace the player before the team's next game? Within one calendar week? There needs to be a relatively tight deadline so you can't ride it out for a few days to see which reserve you want to replace him with, etc.

Within one calendar week seems fair

Saku Koivu, former long-time captain of the Montreal Canadiens, is retiring after 18 seasons. He won the Masterson Trophy after missing an entire season while he recovered from non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. He was the first European captain of the Habs, and he also tied the record for longest-tenured captain of the team with Jean Beliveau at 10 years. He played the last five seasons of his career in Anaheim.

TSN's reporting that Crosby and Malkin would miss the first day of training camp because of minor injuries, and that Claude Giroux will miss two weeks because of a lower body injury.
Malkin and Giroux are my two top guys! I sure hope these injuries don't have longer regular season implications!
