Too difficult at start already. You can only progress by getting on the top, but getting there can only be done in 1 way. The few times I managed to get there, the jump to the next platform falls short due to the scrolling not being there yet. The one time I got on there, again there's only one chance to progress and missing that means you're doomed to fail.

Aww. I might delete the upload and retool it. I originally had it as a non-scroller, so maybe some of the remnants of that are still present.

In the meantime, a stage that was autoscrolling from the very beginning of development. The Rocky Wrench Assault!

Rocky Wrenches are everywhere in this airship fortress. There's quite a few 1-up mushrooms scattered as well. (Not necessarily hidden, just hard to reach.) There is a small nonscrolling segment inside the ship, where the Rocky Wrenches really hang out.

I deleted my original version, and uploaded a retooled version. Replaced the Hammer Bro at the start with a Wiggler. Moved some arrows to help with trajectory, and increased the size of a platform or two. Added a few flying Mushrooms throughout as well. Should be an improvement.

@evildevil: tried your last course and the changed one. For me, the changed one was even harder. Rocky Wrench fared better with me: made it to the sub-area, but failed somewhere near the exit.

Meanwhile, I've played the 10 Mario Challenge a couple of times and finally succeeded to beat the Drybones Stampede course. Also, the 100 Mario Challenge (on easy) showed me some fun courses. A few of them didn't need any input at all :)

I just uploaded my first level. I tried to make it feel more like a real Mario level than what most people seem to be making online. Not surprisingly, I made it in SMB3 style.

I retooled my first level, Bowser's Aqua Ship. The original has been deleted. There were too many unfair segments, so I made some easier or more obvious.

A few days ago, I also uploaded a quick water "don't touch the sides" stage. Jelectro Mines.

This was a nice fun, quick level. Felt very close to SMB3 1-1 at a few points.

I tried all of your latest levels, I got decently far in your Monty Mole and Mushroom Rush levels. The only advice I can give you is that if you're going to continue to make such difficult levels, you should make the beginnings a little easier! It's hard to stay motivated to finish a level when you die constantly within the first 5 seconds of the level. I would also recommend less enemies. I rage quitted in your Auqa air ship level when the monty mole came walking out of the pipe I had to go through, just as I was using it and killed me

I enjoyed the Mushroom Rush level, but I could never get past the piranha plants, in both versions.

I didn't play the game for about a week, all of my levels have reached 100 plays now, and my Bullet Bill level has passed the 200 mark. I'm at 147 stars now. I think my next level will be either SMB3 or NSMBU style. I'm going to try and make a fun, standard level.

I made a second level. I'm very happy with the aesthetics of the course, but I'm not really satisfied with the enemies I used or their placement.

This was fun! I liked the hidden fire flower at the beginning, as well as the multiple ways you could go through the level.

I'm at 164 stars now, so I can upload 30 levels. I don't know if I'll ever even get that far, it takes a lot of time to make a fun, unique level and play test it, the process is fun though. Not too much time right now for levels either. I have a portion of a level in the SMB3 style made and I like what I have. I have this alternate exit that involves you going through a 'secret' route using a P switch and moving very fast. It's really just in there for my own personal enjoyment, as I'm sure most people will choose the beat the level normally. I've put little short cuts in each of my levels so far so they're fun for me to replay.
