I beat Maximo! It's really good. I hope the second one is even better! Not sure if I'll play that or Super Ghouls'n Ghosts to continue my October festivities. Should be fun regardless!

I enjoyed the first Maximo quite a bit. Never got to the second one... I’m sure it’s good.

I just got to the middle school in Silent Hill. Yikes!
I never thought I would feel this way, but now I know. Now I know. I never thought I would see things as I see them now, but now I know. I never thought I would hurt so bad, but now I know. Now I know.

Been decorating my town in animal crossing with lots of spooky furniture and art, so that's been my October gaming so far!

A little music for October. I listened to this song a lot around the time my son was born. And at other times, too.

Blasphemous is 60% off on PSN for the next few days, so I've been seriously tempted to buy that, but I also really want to avoid getting distracted away from Spider-Man.

If it helps, I'm wearing a spooky black Spidey-suit and there may be goblins involved.

Tried some Super Ghouls'n Ghosts, which I've never really started in earnest. It's tough! Got to the second level, at least. Playing on Wii VC will be nice, since it can suspend the game between sessions. I've beaten all the other games on original hardware or otherwise on devices which afforded no such convenience. I know this one's also available on Switch, but as mentioned before, I'm playing around with some baby CRTs I got recently, so I'm playing on Wii U with SD output. If I can find my Wii component cables, it'll look really crisp (one of my tiny TV supports component), but I seem to have misplaced them in one move or another. :(

Interesting that this one has finite continues! Much like Maximo, though, there doesn't seem to be a (practical) limit on how many you can accumulate, so hopefully it doesn't become an issue. I have very much only been able to beat the other entries in the series through sheer brute force and truly countless continues, so we'll see! 🙏

I think I’m almost halfway through Silent Hill. It’s a pretty good game and disturbing in a good way. I’ve been sent to go find some other church. So I’ve got to go back to the town...

I’m near the end of Silent Hill now. It’s getting tough! I’m low on supplies and running for my life most of the time. I guess that’s the way it’s supposed to be...

I got to the last boss in Silent Hill but with only a sliver of life. I’ll basically have to beat it without getting hit. Ugh. Time to dust off my killer hat.

I got a Halloween costume in Mario Odyssey, zombie style with an axe through Mario's head. Big spooks!

Once I'm done Odyssey my Mario Marathon will be done. Maybe I'll play something actually spooky.
