No problem, Audio Ace joined us for a bit. The new map is really big, Kelp Dome size but lots of different elevations.

I'm thinking Decepticons as well, haven't joined yet though!

Should we try and get a game going before Splatfest? I'm good all week!

I made it to A- today, and I think I'm getting a hang of rainmaker a little better. You definitely need to have a group of players that know what they're doing, so I imagine lower ranks are a little more tough. I use quick respawn, ninja jump and speed swimming, as well as the dual squelcher with ecolocator and splat bombs. I feel like this is the one mode where ecolocator is really handy, because this mode relies on you being able to kill the other team as fast as you can. And unlike other modes you often hve enemies coming from all angles because there are no set battle points like there are in Splat Zones and Tower Control.

It can be a crushing mode, but it can also be super rewarding. This one match on Saltspray the rainmaker had moved about 20 meters and I picked it up, swam up the sides and managed to jump through two enemies and just made it to the goal as my other team member made a path. The entire match was about 20 seconds, really exhilerating!

Me and Kreegs played some splat zones on Flounder Heights yesterday as well. I haven't played the other modes on it yet, but it works very well for Splat Zones. It has two zones, a little space between and lots of different routes to sneak up. It makes for good defending, and good ambushing.

Yeah I liked the new stage for splat zones. I think we had a pretty good strategy and I got the hang of my role on the team.

Nice! I've never made it to King in any splatfest. I played. Little before work today, only enough to make it past fanboy level.
