Geez, it's one of the most injury-plagued pre-seasons I can remember. Datsyuk got checked hard into the boards and it going for an MRI on his shoulder today, but he says he feels fine.

Okay Roy sit Duchene, MacKinnon and Varlamov for the rest of the pre season please. Don't want them catching the pre season injury bug TYVM.

That being said they'll probably pull a harding a break their foot off ice...

Are we sure we can't change our starting line up BEFORE the season starts? Seems like everyone will be influenced by the injury bug.

Also, am I the only one who really could care less about pre-season hockey?

That's why we have reserves. As soon as Datsyuk hits 20 games missed, you can sub him out. Too much tinkering before the season takes some of the fun out of the game while the season is actually going on.

I don't generally pay attention to pre-season games either. It seems like a particularly injury-filled year, though. I wonder if people are just rusty or poorly conditioned and getting back into the high-impact part of the game is shaking people up?

So far my top 10 is fine but I lost Drouin and Stepan to injuries and Johansen is still an RFA. So nothing has affected me.

Datysuk, Drouin, Stepan and E and J Staal seem to be the only big loses so it's not that bad really.

Also I don't think we should change them either.

Anyway this is Karma for picking a player from the dark side (Datsyuk, Red Wings are evil)
