That 70's line of last year is having a pretty good preseason for "New Vancouver" ! [Los Angeles Kings]

Has anyone else read the new rule changes for this coming season? If not, check out the link below. Do any of them catch your eye? Agree/disagree?

I did read those back when they were approved, and I don't have a problem with any of them. The only one that kind of stands out to me as "eh, interesting" is making Interference a misconductable penalty (2 in one game = ejection). Hopefully it really cuts down on interference penalties, but I have a feeling we're going to see a few misconducts near the start of the season, because that's a pretty common thing guys try to get away with.

I also thought that was strange. Interference did not seem that malicious to me, but I guess they are just trying to cut down on it happening in general, which is good. I really like the faceoff modification after an icing. Maybe more teams will opt for a time out at an earlier point in the game?

The Sens are low on my list of teams to cheer for, but this is great news for the team and their fans.

I posted in the chat earlier about the Habs & Jets trade. Montreal solved their goaltending backup conundrum by sending Budaj to the Jets. That means Montreal is going to be going with Tokarski to back-up Price. I think it's a good choice. He was excellent in the playoffs last year, and the Jets will benefit from having a second quality tender on the roster.

Slurm, Johansen just got his deal signed, so you're in the clear. Three years, $12M.
