Nice! 5-star characters make a nice centrepiece for the rest of your team. Jordan posted some good resources for min-maxing, but how useful they'll be to you really depends on what you enjoy about the game. Some people like getting the quests done. Some people like taking the characters they find, regardless of how "good" they are, and building interesting teams around them. There's a surprisingly decent amount of content for this genre of freebie, so I'm pretty happy with it.

I got my second 5-star character today, Spring Camilla, I already have a flying unit that I like on my team, Cordelia. I'm currently running both, as well as Roy and Kagero. I suspect the setup will make me too weak against archers, but it isn't a problem so far.

I don't dare to check the invidual values of my characters at the moment, I'm afraid it will deter me from using the ones that I like.

IVs only make or break characters at the highest levels of extreme tweaker play. A good unit with "bad" IVs is generally still quite good.

Man, you've gotten some lucky draws. Cordelia, Spring Camilla, Roy, and Kagero is a nice team composition. Kagero should be able to take care of bows for you, since her weapon is effective against infantry. I find Cordelia is good against bows too, if you can bait them into range, then dart in and double them.

The new summon focus in support of FE Echoes is coming out tomorrow. I'll probably spend my remaining 60 orbs on it, since the characters look interesting enough (and even if I don't get anyone new, I could get some good units for skill inheritance).

Next season's bonus heroes have been previewed:

The characters from the Echoes banner (Alm, Faye, Lukas, Clair), the last GHB (Navarre), one of the starters (Sharena), and then Cherche, Setsuna, Cecilia, and Virion.

I pulled a Clair a couple days ago and it only cost me 10 orbs, but seeing Cherche on there, I don't even think I'm going to need to use her. I have a monstrous +Atk Cherche with Brave Axe, Reposition, and Axebreaker 3. I should be able to get her to 40+1 by the time the new season starts.

I've been playing Fire Emblem Heroes daily, progressing quite nicely with everything beaten on Hard, as well as a decent progression on Lunatic. My team is around level 35. I changed Cordelia for a Nowi, as I thought it would help with a more durable unit. The fact that she counter-attacks ranged units is nice. I'm not entirely sure it was a change for the better though, Cordelia was excelling at quickly one-shotting enemy threats.

I wish the maps were a bit more memorable, but I understand that this game is all about the heroes.

You'll start to find certain maps pretty memorable in the arena. (Bridge, Lava)

What's your friend code?

I set my new personal best in the Arena!

My rank won't stay that high all week, but it'll definitely be good for top 30,000.

Cherche is a wrecking machine. Takumi was my weak link in this team, which is crazy to think about. I could have subbed him out for Nino, and I may try just that if I'm going for a better run this week. Effie just stands in chokepoints and lets Red units crash against her. With Olivia dancing, Cherche charges out and nukes any Blue, Green, etc.

Takumi is kind of average now. Skill inheritance hurt him more than it helped. Vantage is still super good on him, but now he has a lot more competition. Klein, Gordin and Setsuna are considered better archers now (Setsuna needs a brave bow though, but then turns into a quad attack monster). Nuke mages are also generally considered better ranged units.

I scored something similar to that last week, but this week I'm struggling. My only decent bonus unit is Setsuna, who isn't doing much at 4* with nothing inherited.

I haven't been playing much overall. I'm mostly playing Persona 5 these days. I login to do my daily arena and collect orbs. I haven't even finished the pegapony sisters quest.

I know it's kind of crazy for me to want to get into a new Fire Emblem right now, with SoV right around the corner, but I have a hankerin' to play through Fire Emblem (GBA) again. This brings with it a desire to play FE6 for the first time: what's the best way to go about playing the Binding Blade?
