It's always nice for your home opener to be a blowout. :)

Yeah Kit, he could very well end up missing 20 games. As soon as that happens, you'll have the option of replacing him.

The spreadsheet shows GM (Games Missed) to make it easy to keep track, so you don't need to worry about having to do too much mental gymnastics when it comes to substitutions.

It was a blowout, but not because Colorado looked bad. The Wild looked REALLY good. Reminded me how Chicago was two years ago. Great passing, good shots, and moving off the puck to create scoring chances. This is one season that I am looking forwarded to following!

Interesting factoid: There are 4 Wild totaling 6 points sitting in your reserves. Only two Wild are active, and one of them is the only Wild we drafted who didn't get any points last night (Vanek). Bad luck for Slurm!

If Datsyuk stays hurt, you could get your wish in a few weeks!

What are everyone's views on the "home and home" series? I personally think it is kind of stupid. I would rather see a few short clusters of "within division" games periodically throughout the season.

Think it's a good way to start Minnesota's and Colorado's season with 2 games. Really puts fire in the game.

And it gives us an extra game to murder kill cooke
