Let me know what you think!!!
Should it be tagged as a gimmick or a puzzle?
Puzzle
Changed it to puzzle. What did you think Merlin?

It was ok, but can go wrong easily. If you don't get/clear the items in the right order, you can't get out of the maze. Took a couple of tries to figure that out. On first try, I already found the alternate entrance to the maze.

Makes sense. I was fine with people finding the alternate entrance, as the fire car just adds a different element.
Do think it should be harder to find? How could I have made it harder to find?

No, it's good as it is. There's no benefit with the alternate entrance, so no need to make it harder to find.

Well there is because you can hold the button down to charge the fire and it destroys the blocks. That way you can beat it without the P switch. Also, there is a super cheat somewhere that allows you to win in 9 seconds. Thats my record.

I like making levels with little secrets and alternate ways of beating them. In most cases the player won't notice them or experience all variations, but for the creator it's fun to have to replay yourself.

I've noticed you really like these alternate routes or secret things, Kreegs. The hidden checkpoint in your castle stage is a big example of this. Plus, it really helped when I saw it, since the blue falling platforms were annoying. To answer your earlier question, I enjoyed your castle. I've played far too many Pac-Man inspired courses at this point to really think much of that stage, though.
In other news, I uploaded two new stages.
Single Screen Terror (
DF2B-0000-017B-39D1): A one screen Bowser puzzle. I doubt I'll keep this one up for too long, since it's the type of course people will quit as soon as they see it.
Water Hazrd (
0FBE-0000-0186-EBBE): A water stage with a lot of hazards. Grabbing the right item is key.

I'll check out your new courses! I have not come across any other PacMan levels! Hmmmm. I guess I do like putting in secrets! Did you find the major cheat in the Pac Man level? I'm glad you like the castle level. I worked pretty hard at that one!
I will check out your courses tonight.

I found the fire clown car path on my second playthrough of your stage when I saw it in the full map view on the Course World menu. Probably wouldn't have been bothered to look if it weren't for that, to be honest.

That full map view is kind of a kill-joy. There is even another secret path to find!
