BUT SERIOUSLY I'll be picking this up probably for Wii U sometime in the coming months when I feel the need to jump and slash.
This is probably the most unusual shovelware of the whole thing... in surprising heights!

This game looks fun would you recommend it on 3DS or Wii U?

For DDP sake, I went for the Wii U version first, but I have both Nintendo versions. 3DS has that StreetPass Arena feature.

I wanted it portable so that's why I chose 3DS, 3D itself looks quite good. I liked the idea of StreetPass as well, haven't passed anyone with the game yet though :(

It's always nice having a portable version of a game like this, in the event you go away for road trips, or have to go outside due to the hot house (during the last week of 31+ degrees celcius).

Haven't played StreetPass Arena yet... or whatever it is.

I would rather most of my games be on my 3DS, much easier for me to play on the go. If I download an eShop game on my Wii U I often don't have as much time to play it.

31 degrees? Can't blame you for playing outside, hopefully you have a good spot of shade to play in. They say the 3DS XL is more glare resistant but all I notice is it's just easier to smudge the screen with finger prints. ;)

Has anyone tried the New Game +? It seems like you take more damage, but that's the only difference I've found so far. Anyone notice anything else different?

There's less checkpoints and health pick ups in new game plus.
