Because I siphoned my list completely from my Steam and Switch purchases lists, I forgot Touhou Doom which was the best FPS I played this year.

It's a Doom II WAD. It doesn't take very much to run it. I know nothing about Touhou other than it's a famous bullet hell with girls, but playing this was like experiencing the genesis of a new genre of game.

Already downloaded the pk3 file without checking the gameplay video. Don't really like the level design on Touhou Doom, but I'll just try and see if it will run.

It doesn't run. Get a lot of script and parameter errors. Will have to stick with Ancient Aliens

Ancient Aliens still the 2016 FPS of the year. For Touhou Doom I needed to run it in the latest GZDoom to get it going. And it's not about the levels, it's all in the bosses.
