Given unlimited credits it didn't take too much to see the end credits on this one, but I'll keep playing this addictive pac-man variant to collect the animal cards and unlock all the time trials.

I do enjoy the attention to detail of NGPC titles. They almost all seem to pack in little extra things that add to the longevity of the games.

I'm curious about how many credits you managed this with, or if you even kept track (I never have). Don't be offended that I presume it wasn't a 1cc. ;)

Well that's the second tactics game in a row. Pretty great expansion; I'd never play the base game without it.

It was a bit easy on normal, but next up is the Long War mod, so that'll be hard.

What a peculiar entry to the series this is in terms of design and structure. 95% of the game is a walkover that takes less than 90 minutes to beat, then the final stage is insanely hard and unforgiving. I remember now why I've stopped at the final castle so many times. At least it's done now. Even though I have no interest in overlong games I don't understand why this always gets such praise in the BGE contests.

This came with a bunch of GB games I won from an ebay auction. I was surprised to see that it was made by Wayforward Technologies. I was less surprised to see that it wasn't very good.
It's a bare bones 2D scrolling fighter that kind of recalls NES games like Double Dragon 2 and Mighty Final Fight, except even more repetitive. Ridiculously easy and laughably short.

I guess it was meant for a quick blast on the go. I can commend it for having four characters to choose from each of whom has a slightly different story and it's dumb stupid fun for ten minutes or so. I saw a comment on Youtube that said the music was like a robot contemplating suicide which was unerringly accurate and at least made me chuckle while I played it.

K3D was good fun and a good reminder of why I enjoyed previous Kirby games. I remain unconvinced by Epic Yarn, which I'm still whittling at since I bought it months ago, but this one kept me entertained and coming back to it from start to finish. It also has a couple of modes unlocked after beating it that intrigue me (spoilered below, I know some like to be surprised by unlocks).

You can play through an abridged version of the game as DeDeDe, and, of course, there's a boss rush.
The game clocked in at about 9 hours, but I'd be surprised if I didn't get at least a couple more out of it. Worthwhile purchase for sure.

I think the only F-Zero I've played was the original SNES one, which I found terribly hard to control. I also have the ambassador game but I haven't tried it yet. I hear the GameCube one is where it's at.
GX is definitely "where it's at." In my opinion, there is no bad F-Zero. Only great ones and good ones. GX and X file under great for sure. F-Zero one certainly is difficult to get used to (and difficult in general), but it's a game that feels very good to master. GX and X also have punishing controls. Both make convincing use of the analog stick. The full range from a tiny nudge to a full tilt offer different degrees of steering, which matters big time at the speeds F-Zero plays at. I definitely recommend you give either X or GX a shot sometime. Awesome games. As it sounds like you've heard, I'd probably recommend GX first, but X is right there with it and worth getting if you like GX (and in my opinion, has a much better soundtrack, for what that's worth).

Yeah I don't think I'll get into those extra modes in Kirby too much, but I definitely enjoyed the Dedede rhythm one.

And F-Zero X is for the N64? If it's on Virtual Console I'll give it a try.
