Royals win 2-1 to take a commanding 3-0 series lead. One win away from the big dance!
The Giants take a 2-1 series lead over the Cardinals, with a 5-4 win in 10 innings. Game 4 is tomorrow for both championship series.

The Royals have set a MLB postseason record for consecutive wins to start a postseason with eight. Another 2-1 win by them, finishes off the O's. KC moves on to the World Series.
The Giants now have a 3-1 series lead over the Cardinals, with a come-from-behind 6-4 home win.
This will be a very interesting World Series if SF wins the series, as it will be the battle of the Wild Card teams once again... this time, a seven game series! Although, I won't be surprised either if the Giants moved on, as they've been there twice in the last few years, and won. Kansas City on the other hand, is more of a surprise to me for them to reach the World Series. Hopefully, the magic continues for them after a 29 year playoff drought (Won the World Series in 1985).

The World Series matchup is now decided! The American and National League Wild Card winners will battle for glory in the Fall Classic! Should be an interesting one, for sure...
(Giants win the NLCS in five games with a 6-3 win over the Cardinals).

I don't mind a battle of the wild cards. I think the Royals can win this series, too, but I doubt it'll be a sweep. I'm rooting for them anyway.

What an exciting finish to the game last night! Stage is set for the World Series.

Pretty one sided game for the Giants last night. Their starting pitching is so good! Not sure KC is going to be able to score many runners of the SF starters. We will see tonight.

After having their eleven game post-season winning streak snapped (eight this year; other three in 1985 World Series), the Royals even the series with a 7-2 win. The Giants and Royals play tonight (for the next three) in San Francisco.

Royals hold on to win game three (3-2) to go up 2-1 in the WS. Vogelsong slated to pitch tomorrow for the Giants on a chance to tie the series (with Vargas and the Royals countering), while Shields and Bumgarner scheduled to pitch Game five.

Ehh boy... The Royals cough up a 4-1 lead to get hammered by 10 straight runs by the Giants after that. Never mind game 1, this one was a total breakdown [worst game] of the postseason by KC, especially the bullpen.
Series is tied at 2-2 with a crutial game 5 tonight, but I think the Royals have run out of gas. Bumgarner is pitching for the Giants, which is also bad news.
Giants will win game 5, to go up 3-2, unless SOMEHOW the Royals can put a stop to Bumgarner's dominance and the surging San Francisco offence from Games 1 & 4.
