In somewhat less impactful news, Jaromir Jagr has been traded to Florida.

I'm sure all 258 fans down there are buzzing about it.

Ha, one of my friends is actually a devout Panthers fan. She is quick to point out when I give her a hard time that the Preds have yet to win so much as a division title (I believe the Panthers can claim one). But I think that may be coming to an end, hopefully!

The Panthers went all the way to the Cup finals back in... '96? Before getting swept. This is definitely Nashville's year to prove themselves, but everyone knows the playoffs are a completely different beast.
