Ideally you wouldn't have to do all 8 matches at the same time with the same person/people. But yeah, unfortunate.

Yeah, that's a shame. I wish it wasn't set at a limit of races -- only the length of time of the tournament each week. Also, it's tough for me to even score better than last place on the Wii U GamePad. Maybe I lost the magic after Mario Kart Wii, or people have gotten even better over time.

I've missed the last couple tourneys, but will try to make an effort next time around. Been hooked on The Denpa Men 3: The Rise of Digitoll lately... have to leave that and come to Mario Kart 8!

Then people who play more would be at an advantage. Capping the number of races per week allows some semblance of an even playing field, but that only works if everyone can get on and play. I think we basically just need more people. When we have a better idea of a time over the weekend that works best for people, maybe I'll change the tourney's settings to reflect that.

Maybe just have an hour long tournament each week? Change the time each week?

Sorry I missed the tournament last weekend. I was super busy. What if we just keep a running total of our head to head records with each TONe member on here somewhere?

I am down for trying to make this tournament work, but it would require more precise meet up times. That could potentially still work though!

When can people be around today & tomorrow? The way the tournament is set up will allow us to have two meet-ups of 4 races each, so we can have a North American match later on when the Europeans and Australians are asleep, and a Euro-Australian match when the North Americans are asleep, and anyone who's around for both can join both.

If a couple of you get together, post something here and in the chat before starting in case anyone else manages to make it on.

7pm-2am Friday Night/Saturday Morning
(I'm sometimes around between 2am and 7am)
7am-11am Saturday Morning
7pm-2am Saturday Night/Sunday Morning
(I'm sometimes around between 2am and 7am)
7am-11am Sunday Morning
7pm-Whenever Sunday Night/Monday Morning (This is Monday during the day for me and sometimes I have work so can't play)
