Brothers was awesome. The game did a great job of slowly unveiling it's more, fantastical elements. Good use of a different mechanic.

After years of trashing From Software, I was finally convinced to play it by a couple of folks anecdotally telling me that they loved BB despite hating Dark Souls. Add me to the list! Really enjoyed this game in just about every way. I still have a couple of gripes with engine jank and whatnot, but overall I really enjoyed the game. By the end of it, I felt like I really "got" it and its systems, and that's about all you can ask of a challenging game. Maybe I'll try Sekiro sometime soon.

MK11 is mechanically excellent, and its story mode shines just as brightly. I've always enjoyed MK's silly-yet-serious lore, and I was pleased with the chapter presented in this entry. Curious to see where they go next. For now, I'm gonna keep fighting and preparing for EVO. What's more, this game's platinum looks very achievable.

Starlink was a fun, semi-modern starfox game. I never played No Man's Sky so the concept of seamlessly going from a planet to space was really cool. I think if they never focused on the toys to life stuff, and instead focused on making a little more variety to the games missions, it could have been a great game. I would love to see this team make a Star Fox game.

First time playing through the original Halo. The campaign was pretty fun co-op play. Unfortunately after a couple missions the game became veeeery repetitive, consisting of you going through identical rooms mauling down enemies over and over again in missions that lasted too long. Music was a standout though. Hoping Halo 2 keeps a better pace!
