I can vouch for your hunch. I don't know, maybe it would resonate better with someone who doesn't totally hate Plants vs. Zombies.

It turns out the Dungeonromper games are $20 a pop on Vita (still too rich for my blood), and the Pinball Arcade season 1-2 packs are half price or better. I'll have to take stock of what I actually have on my PS4 when I get home.

Paparazzi is TOTALLY worth the pittance they're asking, gang. Really stupid and shallow stuff, but great for a quick laugh with the right people - especially the less gaming-inclined.
Also note the price on those Prinny PSP games. That's a huge reduction and I'll probably finally scoop them up.

Not strictly deals & sales, but
this is the batch of new releases on PSN this week. There's some notable stuff there.
Actual Sunlight (Vita)
Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons (PS4 - not sure if cross-buy yet)
Everybody's Gone to the Rapture (PS4 - part of the PLAY promotion)
Gauntlet: Slayer Edition (PS4)
Goat Simulator (PS4 - the Steam hit comes home, looks hilarious)
Prototype &
Prototype 2 (PS4 - remastered ports of the PS3 games, if you missed them the first time)
Space Hulk (PS3 - Warhammer strategy game ported from Steam)
TorqueL (PS4 & Vita, cross-buy - physics-based platformer)
And some other stuff. Overall a good week.

I had been on the fence on Gauntlet but I think I'll have to get it. Then hold off on buying more stuff for a while...my poor wallet...

There's a decent sale on right now. Lego Marvel Super Heroes is $6.60. Lego Hobbit is $11.
Middle Earth Shadow of Mordor is like $20.

That's an extremely sweet price point for
Shadow of Mordor. I still feel like $60 might have been too much...

Not so much a deal or a sale, but I wanted to draw attention to
the games coming out this week, since they strike me as weird for some reason:
An
Alien: Isolation complete edition on PS4, an enhanced complete edition of
Darksiders 2 for PS4,
Divinity: Original Sin complete edition on PS4, and a Kunio game on PS3.
Tecmo's Deception (PSOne Classic), and a
Trails in the Sky sequel on Vita.

I will stare at Divinity: OS long and hard before even thinking about buying it. I... was not impressed with it on the PC. Maybe gamepad controls change the feel of the game up, but as it was, hard pass. Alien: Isolation, on the other hand, I've been cautiously biding my time to grab.
