THE LAST CHANCE TO RACE THIS SEASON!

I work at my second job tomorrow until 1:30pm. Would be home around 2ish to race anytime between 2 and 3.

I'll be ready to race at 2pm!

As discussed in chat, some rule changes for 2016 are welcome.

For one: fewer races (as has been requested before). It takes about 50 minutes to complete 12 races (if there are no disconnects).

Maybe fewer items? Lightning is the cpu favorite item to use, always is used at a bad time. I wouldn't mind if it wasn't available anymore.

I'm ok with that! I would also be fine with starting a separate 200cc tournament, maybe with only 4 races. What do you think?

Have been going through the create proces myself yesterday. The item choices are limited to 1 type of item, no items or all items. There's also a frantic mode that gives more offensive items and less to no defensive items (could be a thing to try on the regular tournament), but lightning is one of the offensive items. So we have a choice of shells only, mushrooms only, bananas only, bob-ombs only, no items, no items & no coins, all items or frantic mode. What would be best for 200cc? Mushrooms are not needed, so I would go for shells or bob-ombs.

Will do! I mentioned in the chat during the last race to mention any required updates here and I can make them.

Is that the only change we want? Do we want to scale the AI or the time-frame at all?

Edit: PS Kreegs, I've updated the score sheet with a new 2016 default tab that should be fully functional for you.

I think we keep the regular tournament with everything as it was, except with the reduction in races to 8. Does that sounds ok to everyone, or did you want to change items here?

Merlin can make the 200cc tournament with 4 races and change the AI or items any way really. I have no preference when it comes to that one, just as long as the settings are different than the regular tournament for some change of pace!

Yep, I agree there! The 200cc is going to be the main attraction of that tournament, so the other settings aren't as important.
