Most North Americans suggest a weeknight is better, and I think limiting it to one night could actually make it easier for people to square it into their schedules. I just need to fiddle with the times to make sure people playing in different areas can comfortably race within their own time zones.

I can make it start at 3 p.m. EDT or so (which is 8 p.m. GMT) to accommodate our European players. Or is that too late for you, Merlin and slangman? That way Europeans could race right when the tournament starts, and then the North Americans can race a bit later in the evening (later enough that Slurmison can probably get in when he wakes up).
3pm is 5am for me. I couldn't see myself waking up before 8am on a wednesday. So 6pm EDT onwards I could play.

3 p.m. Wednesday afternoon to 4 a.m. Thursday morning in Atlantic time.
1 p.m. Wednesday afternoon to 2 a.m. Thursday morning in Central time.
11 a.m. Wednesday morning to midnight Thursday in Pacific time.

The code to enter is the same: 4195-0380-8883
That means the tourney is open from 4 a.m. Thursday morning to 5 p.m. Thursday afternoon for you.

The time most of us are planning to meet is 7:30 p.m. CDT / 9:30 p.m. ADT / 10:30 a.m. Thursday SlurmTime

Fun racing tonight Kong and Slurm! Some of the CPU were pretty bad though. What difficulty are they set at?

Yeah, they're set at Easy, hahah! I think the reason they're tough is just because it was 150cc. Maybe if they were harder they would get better/cheater items?

By the way, was anyone able to get the final standings this morning? It doesn't look like there's a way to check the standings after the tournament has concluded.

As of last night it was something like:

Kreegs: 109
Kong: 92
Slurm: 74
Shoe: 45
Merlin: ~30s?

I tried that after last week's tourney closed and it was just blank. Maybe no one actually raced that week...

The Reddit one would do it for the whole week. It could possibly be a setting but I can't imagine it being a setting that being said nintendo do some weird stuff.

Their tournament was probably open for the whole week. Just a guess though. I'll check when I get home.
