Here's some more info about the first upcoming DLC pack:

New Track: Yoshi's Circuit

New Vehicles: F-Zero's Blue Falcon, Mario Kart DS's B-Dasher, and Link's Master Cycle

New Characters: Cat Peach, Tanooki Mario, Link, different colour skins for Yoshi

The screenshot makes it look like Yoshi is holding a Yoshi egg, which makes me wonder if the DLC also includes a new weapon/item?

Not sure if you can't tell, or if you can and it just got you thinking; but I'm pretty sure that's just the top side of a mushroom Yoshi is holding!

And Kreggs I was kind of expecting them to make 2 Nitro cups and 2 Retro cups to match the flow of the other cups. So I'm expecting 1 cup with all new tracks and one with old tracks on this first DLC pack.

I always liked GCN Yoshi Circuit by the way, looks lovely now. DLC is coming pretty soon actually, I'm excited for it to get me back into the game.

Yeah, that's what I figured it looked like, but how boring. New items would be pretty neat DLC, as long as they could "balance" them (LOL!) or give us better options to tune item frequency.

I was expecting the same about the cups. We will have to see how this plays out.

This is the first time that a track has been in three MK games. Funny they picked that one... I can think of others that I would rather see. I wonder if the original short cuts will be in place! This course did have some good ones.

Oh I'm sure they will be! This track looks to be playing it pretty safe, I didn't notice any antigrav or flying sections added.

New items would be a cool twist, if anything I would be okay if they just brought back some of the old ones like the fake item block, mega mushroom and thunder cloud.

At the Kreegs household, we call the Thunder Cloud the "Grumpy Cloud."

HOLY SHIT!!! This is the best Mario Kart news yet! The first DLC pack will contain a randomized ExciteBike arena! The ramps and speed boosts change location each time you play (except in time trial mode), which means the races will be pretty crazy. And the arena just looks great! It has classic ExciteBike appeal.

WOW! This looks awesome! A level that people like me can't practice and memorize! Racers must react to what is next!

Looks really cool, especially with the height you get from some of the jumps! Music is great. Makes me excited to see some of the other crossover levels like the Zelda one!

When do you guys think the DLC pack with come out, mid November?
