Eugh, tough decision strategically. Keep Datsyuk and hope he can catch up with slouches like Getzlaf? Or scrap him?

I think I'm going to scrap Kessel and put in Sharp.
And... I'm going to scrap Datsyuk and put in Ryan.

Waiting until next week to decide what to do about Palat.

SHOOOOOOOOT I totally forgot about this. Is it too late to swap Tatar for van Riemsdyk?

I'll just leave it at 1 for missing the deadline, but neither of those teams played yesterday.

And if not thats totally cool. It wont make much of a difference. Im cool either way.

Yeah that's fine! People can have another couple of days if they want. I realize some people might be traveling or do their pool-watching from work or something, so may not have been able to get on... even though everyone has known about the deadline for like two years now...

I'm going to go ahead and swap Ladd in for Palat. I was left with a decision between Ladd, Staal, and Kessel (the latter of whom I subbed out on New Year's). Staal has one more point, but Carolina really sucks right now, and I think Winnipeg has slightly more point-scoring potential, so I'm going to gamble on Ladd.

After all our substitutions, this puts me into a tie with Mess for 4th place, about 20 points back from the top 3.

Wow, this is pretty big news. Johansen got traded to the Preds. That's a legit top-line centre for Clay now. I bet he'll do a lot better for me in my pool now, too.

Preds were stacked on defense anyway.

Giroux had three assists last night to scrape me up into 4th place over Mess for the first time. Now I'm just 17 points off the podium behind Vic.
