Well, that was a pleasant game. It wasn't quite like anything I'd played before, which was nice. The controls were a bit weird, and the voice acting (or really, the writing) could get annoying at times, but the gameplay was still good fun. There's a good bit of extra things to do in the game (its metrics mark me at 43% or 66.3% depending on where I check (???)), but I'm not sure if I'll try any of them. I was satisfied with my purchase after beating the story. I may leave it at that.

Oh, and I should really mention how pleased I was with the soundtrack. In the on rails bits, it was really great (since the composer(s) could time the music to the action). Really happy with the tunes considering how mediocre a lot of soundtracks are these days.

Some of the death mode levels are pretty challenging. You love platforming—you should give it a try!

I cleared D&D: Tower of Doom on the Mystara Chronicles collection. Just cranked the quarters to 'er. Now I have a bunch of grindy accomplishments to look forward to (increasing levels, finding treasures, etc.). Not sure if I'll get on those right away, but the game is fun enough to pound through in an afternoon, so we'll see.

Yeah, I've done the first album's worth now. Talk about some easy silvers. They still don't fix my main gripe with the whole game, which is that the character (whatever it is) just moves too slowly. If you could move just a little faster, I think the game would be a lot better.

Beat DKC3D, after coming from Tropical Freeze this game was a bit of a step down in terms of music and scope of levels, but still lots of fun. I thought the game ran great on the 3DS, not sure what some people were complaining about.

And Clay, did you beat Classic and All-Star will all characters? That's what I consider to be acceptable for "beating the game"
