God of War was excellent.

Super Mario 3D World: I enjoyed this more than I thought I would. I rented the game for 3 weeks and played around 4 levels in the first 2 weeks and thought I only rented it for 2 weeks when I found out I had another week I decided to play some more and just got hooked. 100%ing the game sounds like an ass in single player beating every level 5 times isn't fun. Also one thing in SMW (SNES) you could quit a level after getting a power up and keep it while in this you couldn't it made me waste so much time playing 1-1 and 3-1 over and over again to regain the cat and tanooki suits.

Skate 3: I adored 1 and 2 back in the 360 era and struggled to get into the 3rd back in the days but it was like $4 on sale so I decided to buy it and try it again and while some of the missions were really dumb and the story sucks compared to the older games I really enjoyed it and beat it in only a few days. Going to try and get the C.

Ys VIII was a solid game. Lots of exploring, which was the type of experience I was looking for on Switch. I can't recommend the switch version though due to the awful visuals. The game runs at a solid frame rate consistently, but enemies will move at their own reduced frame rate the further you get from them make it look choppy despite playing fine. I imagine these issues are fixed in the ps4 version, so that version probably gets my recommendation.

Still, very enjoyable game. Switch version only if you really want that portability.

Went into the original crash expecting to give up after a few levels based on what I heard about it, but the difficulty actually wasnt that bad. The level design was a bit dull though, mostly repeating the same challenges over and over again. I'm not expecting to go back for the boxes or anything though
