USA finishes 7/8 with no wins at the World Cup of Hockey.

Lots of analysts are going to read too much into it, but I’m chalking it up to an off year and Tortarella being a shitty coach.

Well, if the three of us actually are going to do this, we'll have to draft soon, before the season starts.

I'll ask a couple of the guys in the TONe clan on Destiny if they want to play, too, since they're Canadians and all.

So considering we haven't done anything I'm going to set up something nice and easy and fun.'

1. Pick a 5 player team. (Skaters not goalies) who you believe will score a lot of points. At the end of the season I will tally the top 3 players of each team and whoever has the most points wins.

2. Who will will win the Art Ross (Who will score the most points?)

3. Who will win the Vezina (Best Goalie voted on)

4. Who will win the Calder (Rookie of the year voted on)

5. Who will win the Stanley Cup?

6. Which playoff team wont make the playoffs this year? (pick one)

7. Will Detroit continue their playoff streak?

8. Which teams will win their divisions? (4 teams)

I'll try work out some way of people scoring "points" for getting something right then at the season the person who scores the most points wins. Just go to work some way of doing it so it's not uneven.

Try get your answers in before the season starts but I'll accept anything until 11:59pm Saturdays EST.

2. Who will will win the Art Ross (Who will score the most points?) Patrick Kane

4. Who will win the Calder (Rookie of the year voted on) Auston Matthews (Unless McDavids is eligible then Connor McDavids)

5. Who will win the Stanley Cup? Washington Capitals

6. Which playoff team wont make the playoffs this year? (pick one) Philly Flyers

7. Will Detroit continue their playoff streak? Yes

8. Which teams will win their divisions? (4 teams) Washington, Tampa Bay, Dallas, Anaheim

It's soooo early to think about divisional (and Cup!) winners, but I guess that's the fun of it.

1. Pick a 5 player team: Crosby, McDavid, Kane, Benn, Tavares (does order matter? if so, in that order)

2. Who will will win the Art Ross: Crosby if he's healthy, McDavid if he's not

3. Who will win the Vezina: Price

4. Who will win the Calder: Matthews

5. Who will win the Stanley Cup? Pittsburgh if Crosby's healthy, Tampa Bay if he's not

6. Which playoff team wont make the playoffs this year? Detroit

7. Will Detroit continue their playoff streak? No, not without Datsyuk. Transition year.

8. Which teams will win their divisions? Atlantic: Tampa Bay; Metro: Washington; Central: Chicago; Pacific: Los Angeles

No order means nothing. Whichever your top 3 scorers are they'll be the ones that count. (Eg allowing you 2 of the 5 being injured without ruining your chances)
