Super Mario Bros. 3 (1988, NES)

No competing with the 2D masterpieces. If only Galaxy had made it through instead of Odyssey, it might have been a tougher choice.

Having just replayed Odyssey, it definitely gets my vote. Of the two games Odyssey is the game I would go back to more, SMB3 is great though.

Harder choice between Galaxy 2 and World. I prefer 3D Mario, so I might lean toward Galaxy here.

Unpopular opinion: Super Mario 3D World is better than Odyssey.

Is that unpopular? 3D World was pretty well received, and Odyssey only gets a lot of love because it's the Mario du jour.
